Day 235-253 - Too much snow?

It is April 7th and it is still snowing here in Utah. Ski areas have hit over 800 inches of snowfall this year, which is record breaking! As much as we love skiing, is this winter going on too long? We have been skiing since the week before Thanksgiving! This season is definitely one for the books. I'm currently sitting at the lodge at Park City waiting for another epic ski day. I rode in early with Brandon and there is something nice about being the only person in the lodge. Watching the uphill skiers going, seeing the setup happening, watching the sunrise on this glorious day... The skies are completely clear, the slopes are nicely covered (with bases over 100+"), and the sun is going to be shining all day. The high today is 41°. The temperatures are going to be much warmer this weekend and week coming up so the concern has shifted from snowfall to flooding. Luckily where we are shouldn't be affected.
Other updates are not as exciting. Brooklyn is back in the shop with a fuel leak. Hopefully this is the last time for a while. Bruce went to the vet last week because his eye infection wasn't getting better. He was on an oral antibiotic for almost 5 weeks, which ultimately upset his stomach. Our pup didn't want to eat and was throwing up bile. He was switched to a topical antibiotic and different food to calm his stomach. I think he is moving in the right direction now.
Alanna is continuing to progress in Roller Derby. At last week's practice she did pull something in her foot, but she is doing just fine. She may be milking it a little bit, but she will survive! She has to get ready for her next bout on May 13!
Nothing too crazy to report.
Things we learned:
Bruce is going to be ok!
Alanna is going to be ok!
Brooklyn is going to be ok!
     We are ready for Spring!
We are ready for more adventure!!

Much love and happy times,
The Blackshires

365 Days of Roaming!

Today is the official 365th day of being on the road. It's crazy to think about all we have done in the last 365 days, and even crazier...
